In 1873, Colt’s single-action Army (SAA) revolver became the Army’s standard sidearm. Cavalry troopers were armed with the new revolvers. Lawmen and outlaws alike were quick to adopt the handy new 6-shooter which earned the nickname “Peacemaker.”

The single-action Army was most widely produced with a color case-hardened frame and blued barrel. Meanwhile, a nickel-plated version was issued to Indian scouts. And a bright charcoal blue finish was available from the factory. But with years of use, the old 6-guns took on a well-handled soft gray patina. All of these classic finishes are available in the1873 Cattleman.

The Uberti 1873 Revolver Carbine is available in .45 caliber with an 18-inch barrel. Choose from traditional field sights or adjustable target sights.

The Colt Buntline 1873 Single-Action target revolver has become one of the icons of the Old West. Only 31 of the original Buntline revolvers were ever produced, and only 18 of those are around today.

The name Buntline Specials was given to long-barreled Peacemakers, based on this story: Tradition has it that dime novelist Ned Buntline presented special-order 1873 Colt revolvers with extra-long barrels, target sights, and detachable wire shoulder stocks to a select group of Old West celebrities. They included Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson.

The Uberti 1875 Army Outlaw and 1875 Frontier are faithful reproductions of the big-frame, Army-style revolver Remington introduced in 1875. The 1875 Remington single actions kept the solid frame and overall styling of Remington’s 1858 percussion models. These replicas are chambered in .45 Colt.

The infamous Frank James carried a Remington revolver for most of his outlaw career. His favorite caliber was .45 Colt.

The 1890 Police is chambered in .357 Magnum and .45 Colt. Like the original Police, it comes complete with a lanyard ring.

The 1876 Centennial Rifle from Uberti is an exact replica of the Winchester Centennial Rifle, but even better.

It has stronger materials and more precise matching to exacting tolerances and specifications. Today’s model is more accurate and stronger for use with modern smokeless and black powder ammunition.

True to the originals, the 1876 Centennial Rifle is chambered in the hard-hitting calibers: .45-60, .45-75, and .50-95. These Uberti rifles are powerful enough to take down North America’s largest big-game animals.

The rifle has a 28 inch octagonal barrel, fully adjustable sights, color case-hardened receiver, and A-grade walnut straight stock and forend.

Manufactured from 1883 to 1885, the Burgess rifle and carbine were Colt’s answer to Winchester’s popular lever-action rifle.

But it was such a formidable business threat that Winchester turned its attention to pistol production.

To prevent disaster, high-level politicians stepped in and put pressure on both companies. Folklore says it was one of the first big back-room deals between large gun companies.

By the time an agreement was reached and production stopped, Colt had produced 6,400 Burgess lever actions.

The Winchester 1873 Rifle was called the “rifle that won the West.” This piece of history is available in 7 distinctive models, including the Uberti1873 Carbine and the Uberti 1873 Special Sporting Rifle, and others. See them all below.

When the gun was first offered, it was chambered in the powerful new .44-.40 cartridge. The .44 caliber bullet was propelled by 40 grains of black powder.

The success of the 1873 Rifle was assured when Colt quickly offered its Peacemaker in the same caliber. Then a cowboy needed only 1 cartridge belt for a lever-action rifle plus his 6-shooter.

The Henry Lever Action is a classic Western-style lever action rifle, and one of the most popular .22’s on the market today. The reason for its popularity is because it shoots great, looks great and is remarkably affordable – about half the price of the competition’s rifles.

The Henry Lever Action rifle features an extremely attractive American walnut stock, the quality of which can only be found on guns three times the price. The action is exceptionally smooth, so smooth many first timers remark that they cannot believe the rifle has any internal parts. You simply have to get one into your own two hands and cycle the action a few times to see for yourself.

Like stagecoaches, swinging saloon doors and Pony Express riders, there are many innovations of the Old West that have long faded from use and live on only in Western movies and history books.

But there are still a few frontier staples that were so effective and ahead of their time that they remain in use today. Take, for instance, the intimidating octagonal barrels commonly found on the repeating rifles of that period. These heavy-duty workhorses sported added mass and extra weight to aid in heat absorption, making them the forerunners to the bull barrels used on modern target and varmint rifles.

Back in the heyday of the TV Western, Steve McQueen, the star of “Wanted: Dead or Alive,” rode across black-and-white screens toting a sidearm like nothing any lawman or outlaw had carried before. A cut-down, modified version of repeating rifle, this recognizable shootin’ iron could be holstered like a pistol but fired with the speed of lever-action rifle. Nicknamed the Mare’s Leg, this innovative weapon swiftly brought outlaws to justice every week and rose to fame as the real star of the short-lived show. Now fans of those classic westerns and collectors of innovative firearms can holster this lever action pistol manufactured in the spirit and style of the original made for TV classic

This is the rifle the range riders of the 1800’s would have loved to have had close at hand for picking off varmints or just plinking at whiskey bottles. But since the .17HMR didn’t hit the market until 2002, it will be up to you to make it a legend.

Our Henry Varmint Express® rifle packs eleven .17HMR rounds in its tubular magazine. It features a 20″ barrel, comes with a checkered American walnut Monte Carlo stock. Like all lever action Henrys, the action is incredibly smooth from the very first shot. It will enable small game and varmint hunters to take full advantage of the .17HMR with regard to velocity, trajectory, wind drift, richochet resistance, quietness and accuracy.

\Already considered by many to be the most accurate rimfire cartridge ever produced, the .17HMR incorporates a .17 caliber bullet into a necked-down .22 magnum case. This high-powered combination produces a sizzlin’ muzzle velocity of up to 2,550 feet per second and the laser-flat trajectory makes it lethal for long-range shots on woodchucks, prairie dogs, foxes and other small varmints. Henry’s take on this revolutionary caliber, the Varmint Express, has a 20″ barrel that delivers dead-on accuracy.

Just like all Henry rifles, it’s handcrafted in the United States using only high-grade components such as a checkered American walnut stock, and Williams Fire sights and, of course, it’s outfitted with that legendary, smooth-operating lever action that sets a Henry rifle apart from all the imitators.

A caliber that traces its origins from the battlefield to its modern-day presence in hunting camps across the country.

Our lever gun offerings have progressed from .17 and .22 caliber rimfires, to pistol cartridge centerfires and in 2011 to the most popular deer-hunting caliber of all – the .30-30. Now for 2012 we are introducing a new model chambered for a famous cartridge capable of handling even the largest game in North America. That’s right: We now make .45-70 lever actions!

Introduced by the U.S. Army in 1873, this cartridge was first known as the .45 Government. As it made its way into commercially produced firearms the name .45-70 appeared, because it was loaded with a 70 grain blackpowder charge with 405 and 500 grain bullets. Virtually all rifle making companies of the late 19th century chambered their single shots and lever actions for the .45-70. As those companies and their rifles faded away, the .45-70’s popularity did not. Factory .45-70 ammunition has been cataloged continuously since 1873 but never in the variety of loadings available now, in the 21st century. They range from 405 grain lead bullet, low-velocity loads for deer hunting and target shooting to high-velocity 300 to 400 grain jacketed bullet ones meant for large game.

Our new Model H010 .45-70 can handle them all. Its receiver is blued steel fitted with an 18.43″ round barrel underneath and a tubular magazine of four-round capacity. Its pistol-grip buttstock and steel-capped forend are crafted of beautiful American walnut and cut with checkering to provide a sure grip. The buttstock wears a soft rubber pad to help shooters handle .45-70 recoil from a 7.08 lb. rifle. The model H010 will be factory issued with XS Ghost Ring rear peep sight with blade front. Because the receiver is drilled and tapped, scope mounting is an easy option.

American women are all different. Some like to cook or garden or make crafts. Some run marathons, some run companies. Some climb mountains, some climb ladders. What makes them the same is their feminine spirit, one that is beautiful inside and out.  We’re proud to have captured that spirit in the Henry American Beauty Rifle. Although named after the iconic American Beauty Rose, there’s nothing pink about this rifle. It just happens to be as pleasant to look at as it is to shoot.

We designed this rifle with the highest attention to detail and beauty. The main panel features an American Beauty Rose embellished with a floral scroll pattern. Beneath the rose is the banner AMERICAN BEAUTY. Hand-cut by master engraver Heidi Roos, the rose and other elements are mechanically transferred onto the nickel plated receiver cover using a hand cut master. This meticulous process helps retain the bright cuts of the original art, which is then further enhanced with 14K rose gold plating so the petals look like they’re in bloom.
